Bloom Into Wedding Season : Blush Color For Spring

Happy Tuesday Babes!

It’s finally starting to feel like spring out and wedding season is upon us. In this post, I’ll be going over the wedding that I attended. My boyfriend’s sister got married this past weekend at the beautiful Kirkbrae Country Club in RI!I’m not sure if it’s just me but I always choose a wedding dress depending on the season. Before I went dress shopping, I had a blush color dress in mind to wear for the wedding. My go to store to search for wedding dresses is Lord and Taylor. I was browsing through dresses and I found this pretty lace blush dress on the rack and I knew that was the one I was going to wear. I tried it on and it looked very elegant and so classy. The straps on the dress was completely different as well, I liked how they were placed on my shoulders. The bottom of the dress was a little long, so I had my aunt hem the bottom and it completed the look. For my accessories, I wore simple dangle silver earrings, a sparkly ring and a silver bracelet.

On the day of the wedding, all the bridesmaids and myself got our hair and makeup done at the salon around 6am. It was a very early morning for us. While we were getting ready, we were sipping on mimosas and stuffing our face with bagels and scones, needed to get some energy as the church was at 3pm in Mass followed by the reception at 6pm in RI. We headed to the Church in Mass, it was a beautiful ceremony which lasted for a litle more than an hour since it was a Eucharist ceremony which included music and dancing, it was very interesting and cool to see. Around 5pm we headed to the country club, which first started with the cocktail hour. The balcony which had incredible views of the club was so beautiful to see, couldn’t resist taking photos up there.

A beautiful blush color dress is such a perfect color to wear at a wedding during the spring season, I always go for gorgeous gowns that can be worn for all sorts of special occasions.

What type of dresses do you like to wear at weddings? Long? Short? Casual? Dressy?
