It’s all about that 2020 vision! This year I am aiming to be more mindful, bringing positivity where I go, striving to work hard on my goals and spending money on things that will benefit me. I’ve been meaning to create a vision board of all the things that make me happy and some of my important goals and I finally made one last Sunday while reflecting on myself, getting into that calm and relaxation mindset and being at peace.
What is a vision board?
A vision board is a collage of images, pictures, and affirmations of one’s dreams and desires, to serve as a tool of inspiration and motivation, and to use the law of attraction to achieve these goals.
How do I plan my goals?
The best way to plan out your goals is to actually visualize them. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What kind of things make you happy? What’s your dream life? Close your eyes and visualize your future.
When I started to create my board, I went through my drawers and found two magazines that were sitting there for a while to see what I could find. Surprisingly, I found enough images to fill up my board and all things that would brighten up my mood. As I collectively went through each page, I found images that spoke to me and that felt important.
PERSONAL GOALS I’M WORKING ON:
Health – being able to incorporate more self-care into my life, eating healthier, working out more, and meditating.
Saving – saving money so that I can travel, spend money on the things I enjoy and that benefit me.
Getting My Own Place – wouldn’t winning the lottery be amazing? I’ve been living at home and at some point in the future, I can visualize my own space so that is something I am working on long-term.
Finding Love Again – I got out of a long-term relationship back in March (almost a year ago)! I’ve been focusing on myself but now I know what kind of person I will allow into my life. Someone who is genuine, have great chemistry with, is respectful, shares the same values as me, and can call them my best friend.
Feeling Confident – As I do feel strong and confident in everyday life, I can definitely work on it more. I have worked with some great brands in the past and this year, I’m currently working with a Medical Spa to get a treatment done and possibly doing a collaboration with a new orthodontist place to get Invisalign to help with a minor issue on the bottom teeth. I’m really excited to see how both of these turn out, keep on checking my posts to see when I’ll be sharing my experiences.
BUSINESS GOALS I’M WORKING ON:
Blogging Journey: I’m happy to say that I’m very thankful that I won a 6 month Influencer course led by Brittany Hennessy that started on Jan 1st which will help me grow my brand.
Fashion Boutique: One of my end goals from the Influencer business course is to research and learn how creating an online fashion boutique works. I love styling outfits and I would love to open up my own which would showcase affordable and trendy pieces.
Updating Brand Logos: I had someone help me with my logo for my website which I like, but now I want to change it up to fit my edgy, flirty and bold personality. If you know someone or a brand who would collaborate with bloggers on designing their logo, please let me know! 🙂
Hosting Events – This year, I want to be able to get paid for the events that I host at venues and taking the time to think about sponsors and the contributions to the goodie bags. I want to network more, include more people to these fun events and to benefit local businesses.
What are some of your 2020 goals? Have you created a vision board?
