Getting Back On The Fitness Wagon

Hello Fitfam!

Today, I’ll be discussing my journey in working out and seriously putting effort into it. It’s been about 2-3 months now that I’ve been working out 5 days a week. Going to the gym used to be a chore for me, but now it’s just a hobby and I love trying out different workouts.

I’ve always been lean my entire life, but once I graduated college, I started to notice that my metabolism was not as fast as it used to be. My stomach always seem bloated and the only time it looked it’s best was in the morning when I woke up.

One day, I decided to take care about my fitness journey and now I feel guilty if I miss a day not working out. I used to always see photos of fitness bloggers and how amazing they looked. At the end of the day, it’s all about pushing yourself to the extreme and changing some of your lifestyle habits in order to get the body you want. For me, I love leaving work at the end of the day, and sweating all my stresses away at the gym.

Before, I’d eat a ton of food and wouldn’t count how many calories I had for the day. I recently downloaded Myfitnesspal, an iPhone app where you can track what you ate for the day, and count your macros, I definitely recommend this!

I go to my regular gym at crunch 4 days a week doing fitness classes, or working out on my own. I signed up for Orange Theory once a week, it’s a fun full body workout.

During the week, I try to be consistent and eat healthy, but there’s times when I just splurge over the weekend. I’ll have cheat meals on the weekends but then I hit it hard at the gym the following day.

Thank you loves for stopping by!

I want to hear your fitness stories what you eat, your workouts, etc. please share them below!  XOXO
