Ended 2018 with a bang! Still can’t wrap my head around that it’s already 2019! There were many great opportunities in 2018 that I want to highlight some of the best moments. I can say that this past year included lots of traveling, road trips, fun events, networking, exploring NYC, visiting my boyfriend in RI and venturing out in Newport were most of my best highlights.

Recap
2018 was a year of up and downs for sure! I’ve been taking my blog more seriously and have been putting more effort into it. After being laid off from my job in October, I went through a mix of emotions. Part of me was happy knowing that I didn’t have to worry about dreading to go into work, and the other part of me was obviously upset not receiving a paycheck bi-weekly. While looking for a job, I’ve been focusing on the things that make me happy and doing the things that I love until I find the right job for me.
I’ve traveled a lot in 2018 which I was so grateful for! I’ve been traveling back and forth to see my boyfriend in RI which is always a great time when we see each other and plus it’s a mini getaway for me. I’ve been to the Hampton’s and PA to attend weddings, took a road trip with my boyfriend for his birthday weekend to the Poconos and went to Austin with one of my best friends, and I must say we had the best time EVER!
I am telling you all to do things that make you happy, there are going to be times when your overwhelmed, stressed, upset, but at the end of the day focus on yourself rather than what the crowd is doing. There are always new opportunities, don’t hold back, just keep doing you!
“The Doors of opportunity are always near…sometimes it takes opening them.”
Thanks for reading loves! Happy New Year 🙂
Looks like you had such a wonderful year!! I just love Newport!!
