HEINEKEN USA’S VIP HAPPY HOUR EVENT + BEHIND THE SCENES STUDIO TOUR

Buzz Creators invited me to tour Heineken’s new space at their headquarters located at 360 Hamilton Avenue in White Plains, NY. They have the latest buzz on fun client events and they reached out that we would learn how to pour the perfect pour, meet the CEO and get an exclusive tour at Heineken’s new creative studio space. I was definitely excited for a behind the scenes tour.

WHEN ARRIVING..

When I got up to the 12th floor, there were green lights around the main entrance and immediately loved the vibes. The main floor has a reception area on the left hand side, and in the middle a lounge area, a pool table and a super nice bar where you can hang out, drink some beers and enjoy in the moment. At the bar, I met up with my Westchester blogger babes and got a heineken beer to start off. Heineken’s crew showed us how to pour the perfect pour into a glass and we all got to try it ourselves which was pretty neat.

Afterwards, Maggie Timoney, the CEO of Heineken gave a speech welcoming us to their space and she mentioned that they always try to keep it innovative, not only as a company but in their products and how they do it. I was really excited to hear this and how an amazing leader she is within the organization.

HEINEKEN’S NEW CREATIVE STUDIO TOUR

After sipping on a couple drinks, we all got a tour of their new creative studio downstairs which had a nice modern feel to it. When you walk downstairs, there’s fridges everywhere with all of their beer. The space had a clean refreshing scent and everything was so organized. We also got a tour of the office space and learned that the work tables are made out of real wood, I mean some really good stuff here!!

They announced their new beer called Heineken 0.0 (pronounced as 00). I didn’t try this one yet but they say if you had a few heineken beers and then have the 00 afterwards, you can’t taste the difference haha. I liked how Cam, the creative studio director mentioned that in a social setting instead of holding a cup of water or soda in your hand, you can just hold onto the Heineken 0.0 and you’ll still belong in the setting as there’s no alcohol in it and you get to enjoy it in a nice bottle.

NETWORKING + THOUGHTS

I had an amazing time getting to know everyone else who attended the event. Behind the bar were fridges filled with beers and ciders. This is such a cool space, I love that you can just grab a drink during your lunch break while you’re hanging out. This space is so modern and impressive and the people working here makes the environment so wonderful. I’m really excited for Heineken and see what else they may have in store. The drinks that I tried were the Heineken light and the strongbow ciders, both really good.

At the end, they gave all of us Heineken Backpacks with some branding gear which was so nice of them! Such a great opportunity to check out their space and learn more about the industry.
