1ST ANNUAL FRIENDSGIVING BREW PARTY

This past Saturday, I’ve hosted a huge Friendsgiving Brew Event with my blogger babes Angelica of @whiskeyandcutoffs and Maria of @marialago . I’ve been meaning to host a big community event where everyone can get together & be able to network, dance, drink, mingle & shop. An event that anyone is welcome to attend – bloggers, non-bloggers, boss babes, & social people. Since the holidays are coming up, I wanted to host the event then, to bring people together and enjoy each other’s company. When I told the idea to my girls Angelica & Maria, they were really excited to make it happen and in just a little over a month or so, we threw an epic party!

WHY WOLF & WARRIOR BREWERY?

We chose to host our event at Wolf & Warrior Brewery located in White Plains, NY, a new hot spot that we knew our friends would love to hang here! We wanted to spread the word about this new brewery that just opened up! The space was the perfect size to throw a large event plus we loved the vibes and the drink menu looked great. We met with Mike, the owner of the brewery and gave him our ideas and we found out then that Mike named his brewery after his two sons, so cute!

BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE EVENT:

Planning the event was so fun but it was also very time-consuming to make sure we were on top of every little thing! I’m so glad that Angelica & Maria were on board and we did so much work to make this event happen! We reached out to sponsors for donating items into the goodie bags, took photos of the space, promoted the event on social and eventbrite, created flyers, designed a photo opp area downstairs level of the brewery, looked for volunteers, reached out for a DJ & photographer, communicated with vendors, you name it, we did it all! I’m so grateful that we were able to make this event happen in a short amount of time, it really showed how motivated and dedicated we were in planning all of it. I feel so accomplished and grateful on the turn out we had.

DAY OF FRIENDSGIVING EVENT 11/23

Saturday, November 23rd was the day of our friendsgiving brew event! At 3:30pm, we headed to Wolf & Warrior Brewery to help the vendors out, organize the space and fix the rest of the goodie bags! We had a variety of different vendors ranging from clothing, beauty products, jewelry, and tasty treats! Most of our vendors were set up on the main floor upstairs, meanwhile downstairs we had a couple other vendors plus a photo opp area where people can take photos and tag the brewery! We made sure that everyone had a table set up along the wall making space for guests to walk around and mingle!

Our DJ @serna914 played some hot hits at our event! He set up his space in the corner across from the main door, making it easy for people to see the lights when passing by. The music was loud and pumping, we absolutely loved the vibes.

The event officially started at 5pm and more people started coming in roughly around 6pm! We had tons of our friends, blogger babes, and the community come and support our 1st Annual Friendsgiving event! It was such great energy and everyone made connections, enjoyed the drinks on the menu and had a fun time shopping. Huge shoutout to our photographer Paola of @paola_kaoud , for capturing killer photos at our event! She is so outgoing, friendly, great energy and did a fabulous job. Be sure to check her out!

At 8pm, we handed out some amazing raffle prizes! I gave a little speech, thanking everyone for attending and the vendors for being a part of it! We gave out 10 tanning sessions from Soleil, a $150 gift card to iconic lounge, a $50 gift card to Lemonlun, 2 Wine Glasses from 22KatCorp, a bracelet from @aryanas_collection, Fresh flowers from Santa Fe flower Shop & 1 Month Unlimited to Studio 50 Fitness ! We had some pretty lucky winners.

By the end of the night, we started to hand out our goodie bags to our blogger babes! We made sure our swag bags were filled with valuable and fun items from our favorite brands! We enjoyed putting each one together.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support us, we had the best friendsgiving party ever and we couldn’t of done it without you guys. It was so great to see a combination of bloggers and friends, general community who was down to hang out, have a good time, network, drink, & be merry!

Outfit Of The Night

My outfit of the night was from Lola New York! They have the chicest outfits and I absolutely loved my entire look! Yellow looks really good on me, so when I found that yellow sweater, I immediately knew I was going to wear that. I’m a sucker for leather skirts and as soon as I saw the black vegan leather skirt on the rack, I knew that was going to be mine! I paired it with the snake print fanny pack which was so convenient to wear during the night of the event. The gold earrings and the rings also complimented the look.     Nee! You girls did such an AMAZING job with the first annual Friendsgiving event. Everything turned out prefect, I can’t wait for more events like this in Westchester come 2020!
