How My Blogging Journey Began With Style Collective

Hi Babes,

Today, I wanted to share with you the amazing blogging platform called Style Collective. When I started my blogging journey, I did not know where to begin. I became a member of Style Collective in September 2017. Since joining, my blog has grown and I have been able to network with fashion influencers and collaborate with brands. If you want to grow your blog and take it to the next level then keep reading to see how my blogging journey started.

How My Blogging Journey Started:

My blogging journey started when I was working at a luxury footwear company. The marketing coordinator was a Westchester based blogger. Kelly from @livelycraze shared her instagram feed and blog with me. I had no idea a blogging community even existed at the time and when she told me I should make a blog, I thought about it and was like why not? I do have a great sense of style and own so many accessories and clothing. Kelly, also mentioned that she received many free products from name brand companies. I decided to create a blog of my own to inspire others that you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on designer clothing to look fashionable and trendy.

How I Joined Style Collective:

At the beginning I had no idea where to start and that’s when I found out about Style Collective. Style Collective was created by Annie Spano and this female platform is where women come together to learn and stay connected in the blogging world. I joined in September 2017 and I thought it would be a great start to build my blog and network with fellow bloggers. The monthly membership fee is only $10! Annie’s personal story truly inspired me. I loved that she was so authentic about her brand, it made me connect with her story.

My Style Collective Experience:

My Style Collective Membership experience has just been wonderful! I’ve met so many great #SCSisters and they are all inspiring in their own way. For me, I’ve always had a hard time coming up with blog post ideas or how to pitch to a brand. I love that the guides that Annie provides are so useful. I find them very helpful. I also love going to networking events to interact with other blogger babes.

The #SC gala event in September 2017 was the first I attended. The venue was beautiful, I had a great time. I also recently attended the Style Collective Conference during NYFW, it was a great event and a great learning experience. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The influencers/bloggers who spoke with Annie were so genuine with real life experiences. The drink and snack station was very satisfying. Plus I am very grateful for the girls at the beauty station who helped do my hair. I left the conference feeling confident and happy to have met and connected with so many of the other girls.

Another reason I enjoy Style Collective is listening to their podcast called Becoming Fearless. Annie, does a great job of conveying her story and bringing other influencers to talk about their journey, whether that be in fashion, photography, entrepreneurship or any other field.

You may ask why join Style Collective? It has allowed me to be surrounded by inspiring and successful bloggers who love what they do and always keep a positive attitude. The resources/guides are super helpful, there are tons of brands to collaborate with, the networking events allow you to meet new people, and Annie is always there to respond to any questions or concerns you may have.  Style Collective is such a great blogging community, if you’re not a member yet, see my link below to join a group of amazing sisters.
