Hope everyone is keeping sane with what’s happening around in the world. How are you all keeping sane at home? I’m getting used to working from home now especially that I can plan when to take breaks or step outside for fresh air. While being quarantined at home, this gives us the opportunity to keep our mind flowing and our bodies moving. I’m sharing five ways on how to keep yourself busy and distracted while self-quarantined.
It’s all about that 2020 vision! This year I am aiming to be more mindful, bringing positivity where I go, striving to work hard on my goals and spending money on things that will benefit me. I’ve been meaning to create a vision board of all the things that make me happy and some of my important goals and I finally made one last Sunday while reflecting on myself, getting into that calm and relaxation mindset and being at peace.

Life can be hard on us sometimes. From an outsider perspective, many of us are perceived as the person who has it ALL. Sometimes scrolling through Instagram at least makes you believe that. Have you ever scrolled through the gram and ask yourself why your life isn’t as GOOD as someone else’s? In every day life, all of us go through experiences. We all go through bad experiences, bad moments that later on become a learning experience. Overthinking on certain topics just causes stress on our bodies and then affect us down the road. Have you ever dealt with an upsetting situation that all you wanted to do was punch something or have a hard time distracting your mind from such negativity? I know I have. In our daily lives, we all go through ups and downs but we all find a way to improve ourselves. If you know someone who is always smiling all the time doesn’t mean that their always happy or everything in their life is perfect. Some of us hide these emotions and somehow push it through trusting that everything will be ok.
I’ve never attended a wellness retreat before until I received free tickets to attend a Nourished retreat in NYC and I couldn’t say no! I’ve been watching what I eat lately and being consistent with my workouts as well and keeping track of the kinds of foods I’m putting into my body.
